Everything we consume today–maybe always–has a visual element: the package, the video, the logo, the book cover, the CD artwork, the web site. Being able to shape the visual elements can greatly enhance the impact of non-visual content. Perhaps only music’s impact can skip past our eyes to our hearts. But I’m sure you can think of at least one song that left you flat until you saw the music video that a visual artist created to go with it.
